Currently we offer transportation to elders for all medical related appointments including prescription pick up.  In addition we offer services to elders to complete banking, shopping and bill paying needs.  Services are only offered to tribal members living in the Humboldt County area.  We look forward to expanding our services to elders to be able to attend more tribal functions.

We also offer transportation for tribal children to and from medical appointments.  A parent or legal guarding must be present while transporting minor children to their medical appointments.  Services are only offered to tribal children living in the Humboldt County area.

The department has taken the lead with the bus pass program formerly maintained by social services.  We do offer bus passes to tribal members at no charge.  Bus passes are reserved for tribal members to make it to and from school, work, minor medical appointments.

As our current tribal shuttle program prioritizes elder services and children’s medical needs we are open to helping out when we can in other areas.  Please feel free to give us a call at 707-733-1900 Ext. 293 for scheduling availability.
